"Improving Nursing Skills In Management of Patients With Cardiovascular emergency"

World Health Organization (WHO) recorded more than 7 million people die of acute coronary syndromes in the world in 2002. This figure is expected to rise to 11 million people by 2020. Antman et al, (2004).

Acute Coronarya Syndrom (ACS) is a coronary heart disease is a major cause of death in the world, where there are more than 4.5 million people died of ACS, which is included into the SKA is: ST Elevation Myocardial Miocard (STEMI ), Non ST Elevation Myocardial Miocard (NSTEMI) and Unstable Angina pectoris ((UAP).

Complications that can occur in ACS is caused by the occurrence of cardiac ventricle fibrillation (VF). VT or without a pulse. To these nurses are required to increase knowledge and skills in the management of patients with ACS who have not experienced both complications and who have experienced complications, Basic Life Support / Life Support is the effort made to sustain life when the patient experienced life-threatening circumstances. When Live Aid effort is done without using intravenous fluids, medications or electric shock then known as the Basic Life Support (Basic Life Support). Conversely, if life support is done by using drugs known as Advanced Life Support (Advanced Life Support).
